TERMS OF SALE
MarinePartsEurope applies applicable legislation within the Distance and Home Sales Act. By law, you as a customer have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods and for no special reason. This is provided that the product and its packaging are in the unaltered state, i.e. unused and not destroyed or damaged.
The product must always be returned in the original product packaging with the custom-made inner packaging made to protect the product. We would prefer that you also use the transport packaging in which the goods were delivered in case of a return, therefore remember to save all cartons at least for the 14 days that The Right of Withdrawal and Open Purchase apply.
You are not allowed to use the product but of course carefully examine it. The customer is responsible for the return shipping when invoking the Right of Withdrawal and Open Purchase, see below under the heading 'Return terms'.
RETURN TERMS & INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNS
Invoking the Right of Withdrawal and Open Purchase
• Notify MarinePartsEurope customer service that you wish to return the order within 14 days of receiving the order or a substantial part of it. In this notice we need you to provide information about part number and quantity.
• The product must be in the unaltered state: i.e. unused, not assembled, not destroyed, not damaged.
• Return the product in the original product packaging with the custom-made inner packaging. The package must then be sent in a transport package which is the same or equivalent to that used in the delivery to you.
• The product should be complete. This means that all accessories such as operating instructions, screws, nuts, etc should join the return.
• Keep in mind that you are responsible for ensuring that the product is well protected in the transport back to us, so make sure you package the product well.
MarinePartsEurope reserves the right to charge the cost price of the missing parts, in cases where the return is not complete. MarinePartsEurope does not redeem parcels for cash advances.
COMPLAINTS AND WARRANTY COMMITMENT
MarinePartsEurope applies the right of complaint under the applicable legislation of the Consumer Sales Act, it means that you as a private customer have the right to complain about the goods after you have received it, for up to 3 years. For corporate customers, the Sales Act applies.
Please note that the right of complaint is not equal to warranty. The product warranty is unless otherwise stated 12 months for new products.
MarinePartsEurope inspect each shipment before sending it to you. Should the item be damaged or faulty when it arrives, we undertake to fix the fault. It is important that you make a correct notification if something is not delivered properly.
Visible defect or damage to packaging
Report directly to the driver upon receipt of the goods. Note on consignment note must be made before signature, then the goods must be inspected, and any damage reported to the carrier and notified to MarinePartsEurope.
Hidden error
Reported to MarinePartsEurope customer service within 3 days of receipt of the item or detection of the defect. If we find that a product is incorrectly shipped or damaged, we replace it or refund the money and shipping cost. If you have ordered more goods than the one you returned, the full shipping cost will not be refunded, but only the part related to the returned product.
Spare parts complaints - unauthorized customers and private customers
Complaints shall be made in accordance with the following procedures.
Send an email to sales@marinepartseurope.com within 1 year from invoice date, containing the following information;
Part number and quantity
Cause of error (be sure to provide as detailed information as possible)
Invoice number
Crediting takes place only after Volvo Penta has approved the complaint.
PAYMENT
You pay directly on the site by debit or credit card. We accept most debit and credit cards. Please note that the total amount of the order will be charged to your credit card within the next few days even if your order cannot be delivered immediately.
We reserve the right not to process orders placed by credit card if we believe we have reasons for doing so. If so, no money will be deducted on your credit card and the order will be removed.
Your credit card number will not be stored by MarinePartsEurope.
